About the Role:
An SDR (Sales Development Representative) job focuses on prospecting and qualifying leads, acting as the first point of contact to generate new business opportunities for the sales team, primarily through cold calling, emailing, and social outreach to identify potential customers, nurture relationships, and schedule meetings/demos for Account Executives. Key responsibilities involve researching prospects, using CRM tools (Hubspot), handling rejection, managing high volumes of leads, and collaborating with marketing and sales.
Typical Day:
Often involves starting with research, then focused prospecting blocks (calls/emails), follow-ups, and pipeline management, often juggling multiple tasks and channels.
This role reports to the Head of Sales.
What You’ll Do:
Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential customers (Ideal Customer Profiles) using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Whatsapp, Racquet Notifications etc..
Outreach: Engaging prospects via phone, email, and social media to generate interest.
Lead Qualification: Asking discovery questions to understand prospect needs and determine if they are a good fit (BANT, MEDDIC).
Appointment Setting: Scheduling qualified meetings or demos for Account Executives (AEs).
Lead Nurturing: Building relationships with leads who aren't ready to buy immediately, but could be in the future.
CRM Management: Accurately logging all activities, contacts, and notes in the CRM system (Hubspot)
Collaboration: Working closely with marketing (for lead quality) and sales (for smooth handoffs).
Requirements:
Fluent in English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
Communication: Excellent verbal (cold calling) and written (email) skills.
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and stay persistent.
Organization: Strong time management and ability to manage high volume.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Hubspot CRM, prospecting tools, and sales software.
Self-Motivation: A driven, goal-oriented mindset.
Curiosity: A desire to learn about products and customer pain points.
Strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple onboarding timelines while ensuring team accountability to KPIs.
A highly organized and detail-oriented work style, with a bias for action and an ability to identify risks early and implement solutions.
Comfortability working cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Success teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
