Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus is now accepting applications for Senior Network Security Administrator. The Senior Network Security Administrator administers and manages enterprise-wide network security systems that support the information technology infrastructure of the College. This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of multiple network security appliances. This is a Professional Exempt Contractual (PEC) position for which an annual contract reflecting the base salary within the fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be issued after ratification by Miami Dade College’s District Board of Trustees

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides timely and rapid responses to the user community’s requests for assistance
• Completes status and statistical reports for network security events and compliance
• Monitors network security events for security incidents and investigates causes
• Proposes configuration changes to improve system network security
• Installs and configures systems software for NGFW, IPAM, PKI and Load Balancers
• Provides systems level support for multiple network security systems
• Provides systems technical support and assistance; monitors system operations
• Develops and maintains disaster recovery documentation
• Troubleshoots problems with network security systems
• Designs, analyzes, and conducts diagnostic support
• Oversees capacity planning and system integrity
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Six (6) years of progressive experience in implementing complex network and network security technologies
