Full Stack Developer, Fanbase (Web3 Social Platform)

Fanbase is live! We've already launched our Web3 social content platform where creator monetization happens on-chain. We need a developer to jump right in, extend our core functionality, and lead complex integrations like games and companion apps.

If you're a TypeScript-first full stack developer who uses AI tools to write blazing-fast, high-quality code on an existing, fast-moving product, let's talk. You'll be comfortable working across React, Node.js, and complex blockchain integrations while tackling challenging graph database models.

What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)

• Extend Core Features: Build new experiences across our main Vite + React web app and internal admin dashboards, with a focus on games integration and new companion applications.
• Backend Power: Build and maintain our backend services using Node.js and Firebase Functions.
• Web3 Integration: Connect to the blockchain! Implement integrations with EVM (Hardhat) and Solana (Anchor) smart contracts.
• Data Modeling: Work with our ArangoDB graph database, optimizing queries and modeling complex social data.
• Full Stack Execution: Implement robust REST APIs and handle high-throughput real-time interactions.
• Quality Code: Write clean, modular, and secure TypeScript.
• AI-Augmented Development: Actively use AI assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate development, refactoring, and debugging.
• Teamwork: Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and debugging across our Dockerized services.

• Frontend: Vite, React 19, TypeScript, TanStack Router & Query, Tailwind, Radix UI
• Backend: Node.js, Firebase (Auth, Functions, Firestore, Storage)
• Database: ArangoDB (Graph-first modeling)
• Web3: Hardhat, Anchor, Solidity, viem
• Infrastructure/Tools: Docker, GCP, pnpm + bun, Git
• AI Workflow: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot (We have an AI-first development culture)

Must-Have Experience

We're looking for an experienced developer who can hit the ground running:

• 3+ years of full stack development, primarily with React + TypeScript.
• Strong backend expertise with Node.js and API development.
• Familiarity with Vite or other modern frontend build tooling.
• Experience building and scaling real-time systems.
• Comfortable using Docker for local development environments.
• Proven, active use of AI coding assistants in real-world projects.

Great-to-Haves (Bonus Skills)

• Smart contract development experience (Solidity or Rust).
• Experience with ArangoDB or other graph/NoSQL models.
• Deep expertise within the Firebase ecosystem.
• Background building social, content, or monetization platforms.
• Demonstrable productivity gains using AI tools (show us the data!).
