Description

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end development, design, testing, and seamless integration of the Slurry Deposition system into the HYBRID3D™ advanced manufacturing platform
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership, cross-functional team members, and strategic vendors to drive requirements definition, execution, and successful system delivery
  • Execute detailed CAD modeling, manufacturing process development, system integration, and rigorous testing and evaluation activities
  • Apply first principles modeling of the underlying physics and mathematics to guide design decisions, predict system behavior, and solve complex engineering challenges
  • Architect robust mechanical subsystems and fluid handling solutions that deliver precise, repeatable, and high-performance slurry deposition
  • Own verification, characterization, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Slurry Deposition system to meet stringent battery manufacturing requirements
  • Shape the long-term technical roadmap for slurry-based additive processes within the evolving HYBRID3D™ platform

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Strong proficiency with CAD tools for complex mechanical design
  • Deep foundation in physics, mathematics, and first-principles engineering

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fluid or slurry deposition systems of any kind, including but not limited to: Direct Ink Writing (DIW), food extrusion and deposition or packaging, concrete pumping, etc
  • Experience developing additive manufacturing technologies

This position is full-time onsite at our office in Miami, Florida.
