Niche Payroll (Nonexempt) - Medical Director

Description:

**This is a remote based (work from home) role and can be based anywhere in the US.**

In the Medical Director role you will collaboratively implement medical policy. You'll participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical/medical programs and promote Client's medical management programs and the Employer’s (Plan Sponsor’s) resources to address member needs across the continuum of care. You will support the Medical Management staff ensuring timely and consistent responses to members and providers, and the dedicated Account Team & Employer. In addition, you will oversee utilization review/quality assurance, and provide clinical guidance to support case management activity. In this role you'll provide clinical expertise and business direction in support of medical management programs through participation in clinical team activities. You will also act as a lead business and clinical liaison to account teams and health care providers to support the effective execution of medical services programs by the clinical teams.

Total Years of Experience
Ideally, 2-3 years of relevant experience in clinical leadership, medical oversight, or healthcare operations.
This should include at least 2-3 years in a Medical Director or equivalent leadership role, with direct experience managing clinical teams and overseeing care delivery.

Clinical Oversight & Decision-Making
Must have strong clinical judgment and experience making high-level decisions in patient care, compliance, and quality assurance.

Leadership & Team Management
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor clinicians, and collaborate across departments to drive performance and outcomes.

Regulatory & Compliance Expertise
Deep understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), credentialing, and clinical documentation standards.

Strong Computer Skills are a must
