The Compliance Coordinator supports the Director of Compliance and Risk Management. The position is primary responsible for reviewing and performing compliance and regulatory requirements on individual licensing/appointments, certificate of insurance, third-party notaries, and data privacy requests. Additional duties may include, but not be limited to, participating in assisting/processing consumer complaints, claims, and special projects for the Legal/Compliance Department.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including documentation (license, insurance certificate, etc.).

  • Responsible for handling compliance privacy by collecting and coordinating privacy data requests.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between third-party notaries (Vendors) and internal teams (compliance, legal, operations, etc.). Ensure Vendors are fully onboarded with portal access, tools, and expectations (OurRecords).

  • Maintain accurate associate and Vendor records, continuing education, agreements, and compliance status.

  • Assist in monitoring risk protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

  • Conduct compliance reviews/audits of documentation, licensing, Vendors, insurance, or other special projects ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and state regulations. Assist in processing claims and consumer complaints.

  • Support internal teams by providing training and resources.

  • Help evolve and update compliance standards.

  • Performing other compliance-related tasks or special projects as directed by the Director of Compliance and Risk Management and General Counsel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Escrow, Accounting, Finance or other related areas.

  • A valid state driver’s license.

  • Ability to professionally perform multiple, detailed‑oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.

  • Proficiency in escrow/closing software (SoftPro) is a plus.

  • Industry experience in title and escrow operations or real estate preferred.

  • 2 + years of experience in compliance or operations coordination.

  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization and documentation management skills.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate clearly and professionally across departments.

  • Possess strong work ethics, integrity, and loyalty.

  • Team player with the ability to solve problems and multi-task.

  • Proficiency in Window operating system, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $69,332.76 - $82,259, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.

  • This position may be eligible for commissions.
