Location: Davie, Florida (Hybrid Role)

Handtevy is hiring a talented QA Engineer with expertise in mobile app testing and SaaS.

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting both manual and automated testing, analyzing application functionality, writing test cases, and designing automated tests to ensure the performance and quality of our applications.

As a QA Engineer at Handtevy, you'll play a key role in implementing best practices for testing and maintaining high-quality standards across our product offerings.

We are looking for inquisitive and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about delivering scalable and robust QA processes that enhance our products and services.

This position is available following one of these schedules:

  • Five days in the office
  • Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)


Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with front-end and mobile application testing.
  • A passion for delivering reliable, high-performance applications.
  • Drive product quality by implementing best testing practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on software testing experience, ideally as a Test Automation Engineer.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Git, and familiarity with AWS and SQL.
  • Experience with functional automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of various software testing methods (Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance testing, Performance testing).
  • Proven ability to solve problems, identify root causes, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussing, developing, and implementing plans.


Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and technical documentation to fully understand application features and write test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests for UI, API, and performance validation.
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing for complex features and scenarios not covered by automation.
  • Test components for accessibility and usability to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Triage and manage user-reported bugs by thoroughly identifying, documenting, and tracking them. Assist developers in reproducing and resolving issues.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure overall system stability.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to deliver stable, robust automation suites.
  • Stay current with the latest testing tools, technologies, and strategies.

Company benefits:

  • Competitive salary range between $80,000 and $120,000 commensurate with experience. If your salary requirements exceed our budget for this position, please do not apply.
