Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales with a strong leadership background and a passion for driving new business. This role is pivotal in breaking into new accounts, expanding our client base, and leading the pipeline team to exceed sales goals. As a high-level sales leader, you will develop and execute strategic business development plans, manage high-impact client relationships, and lead your team to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will be a skilled negotiator, a strategic thinker, and a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute a strategic approach to identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities in the IT staffing space.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the pipeline team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving the team to exceed targets.
- New Client Acquisition: Serve as the face of Focus GTS to new clients. Build and nurture strong client relationships with senior decision-makers, focusing on long-term partnership development.
- Target Achievement: Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, including securing new signed client agreements and increasing gross profit through strategic sales initiatives.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-level negotiations with clients to secure new business contracts. Ensure all agreements align with company goals and deliver maximum value.
- Sales Process Management: Own the entire sales process from prospecting through closing, ensuring that the pipeline is consistently filled and opportunities are converted efficiently.
- High-Level Client Communication: Effectively communicate the value of our IT staffing services and solutions to C-suite and executive-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Overcome Challenges: Handle rejections, setbacks, and challenges with resilience. Stay motivated and maintain a positive, goal-oriented attitude to achieve long-term success.
- Revenue Growth & Reporting: Ensure consistent growth in revenue, track key sales metrics, and report on performance regularly to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in a business development or sales role within the IT staffing industry, SAS, or professional services.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in new business development and lead conversion.
- Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to develop long-term sales strategies and translate them into actionable plans that deliver results.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and convey value to senior executives and decision-makers.
- Negotiation Expertise: Expert negotiator with the ability to close high-value deals and secure agreements with ideal clients.
- High Motivation & Financial Focus: Driven by achieving financial success, both individually and for the company, with a focus on long-term revenue growth.
- Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to handle rejection, bounce back quickly, and maintain motivation in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
