We are seeking an experienced Site/Facilities Manager to oversee our Miami facility operations and support our expanding commercial deployments. This is a critical hands-on leadership role that combines facility management expertise with people management responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure our facility operates at peak efficiency while managing diverse teams of technicians, contractors, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of all facility areas
- Complete basic maintenance duties including preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades
- Safely handle materials and equipment up to 50 pounds as required for daily operations
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate facility improvements and expansions to support business growth
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Direct and manage the work of engineering technicians, welders, and general contractors
- Coordinate and oversee outsourced workers from services like Task Rabbit and Thumbtack
- Provide clear work instructions, quality standards, and safety protocols to all team members
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment across diverse skill sets
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations
- Equipment & Heavy Machinery Operations
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently (certification required)
- Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of all facility equipment and machinery
- Coordinate equipment rentals and service as needed for projects and operations
- Maintain equipment logs and safety documentation
- Project Management & Communication
- Provide timely and detailed project updates to senior management
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Prepare comprehensive reports on facility operations, project status, and team performance
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both English and Spanish
Required Qualifications
- Certifications & Technical Skills
- Valid forklift certification (required)
- Heavy equipment operation certification (required)
- Basic maintenance and repair skills across electrical, mechanical, and facility systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Language & Communication
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Location & Availability
- Must be based in Miami, Florida area
- Availability for occasional evening or weekend work as needed for project deadlines
- Reliable transportation to facility and project sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in facility management or industrial operations
- Experience managing diverse teams including contractors and temporary workers
- Background in renewable energy, manufacturing, or technology sectors
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Experience with thermal energy systems or solar technology
- Bilingual capabilities in additional language
