Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Security DevOps Engineer to join our team on-site in Miami FL and help us secure our software development processes and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automating security into the development lifecycle and committed to creating efficient, secure, and scalable systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Integrate security practices and tools into the software development lifecycle, from initial design through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines processes for various software projects to automate security checks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and mitigate security risks at every phase of the development process.
• Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability testing to identify security issues and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Establish and oversee the utilization of security instruments and technologies, including vulnerability scanning, mobile application security assessments, and source code analysis.
• Develop and enforce security best practices and policies across the organization.
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Provide training and support to development and operations teams to enhance their understanding of security best practices.
• Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents with appropriate measures.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong understanding of cloud computing environments and containerization technologies
• Proficient in scripting languages and automation tools
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks
• Familiarity with security tools and practices for securing applications and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have over 4 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience in a DevSecOps, security engineering, or related role.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are preferred.
