Our client is a growing organization embracing collaboration and innovation while delivering transformative solutions. Currently seeking to add a Senior Manager within their business transformation team. Ideal candidate will be tasked with driving innovation, creativity, and impact effective change within the firm. Reporting directly to the CFO, this mission-critical leader will be key in enabling Finance’s ability to achieve its long-term ambition of becoming a trusted business partner and steward of long-term value creation for policyowners.
Responsibilities:
- Act in an internal management consulting capacity; heavily focused on current-state organizational maturity benchmarking, and Finance transformation and operational industry best practices, emerging trends, benchmarking
- Streamline financial processes to drive alignment with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and impactful resource management.
- Lead the integration and financial reporting workstream of a post-merger integration program
- This role has primary accountability for strategies and deliverables that support Future-of Finance (FoF) target operating model, and for driving operational efficiency / effectiveness across the Finance organization
- Develop and implement financial growth plan/processes and best practices for firm by fully integrating post-merger acquisitions
- Drive Finance alignment with enterprise project management standards
- Develop success KPIs, budgeting, coordinating approvals, and determine scope and timelines for successful organizational growth
- Partnering with Executive level stakeholders to understand their needs, enable their vision and build trusted relationships.
- Ensuring Finance Transformation Strategy / Roadmap alignment with other Enterprise Strategic Planning and Initiatives
- Tracking and reporting on program status in relation to Finance Transformation Roadmap value realization, embedding a strong focus on service excellence, cost reduction, and continuous improvement for all of the services delivered by the organization using benchmarks and best practice comparisons.
- Designing and delivering complex transformation and value creation programs.
- Providing day-to-day strategic direction and leadership for creating an environment and culture that fosters partnership
- Implement engagement finance dashboard allowing senior leadership to monitor program financial health, budget forecasts, and profitability across all teams within firm
- Lead strategic partnerships and advise Management Team on deal structures and negotiations
- Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend changes to policies that affect your work area and possibly the business function within your area/department
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8+ years most recent experience Banking or Management Consulting, Financial Services Experience;
- Strategy/Management Consulting experience strongly preferred
- Top Academic pedigree
- MBA highly desirable
- Strong strategic and execution skills with ability to influence, collaborate, and work across the organization
- Distinguished record of standing up and leading/overseeing the successful implementation of large scale finance transformation projects
- Corporate Development Business Transformation/Advisory
- Advanced Technical Skills; Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
