As they continue to grow, they’re looking to hire a Senior Payroll Specialist to support their U.S. and global payroll operations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance, and supporting key cross-functional initiatives. You’d be working closely with internal teams and gaining exposure to a dynamic, high-performing organization at the intersection of tech and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the bi-weekly payroll process for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Leverage advanced payroll systems such as Workday to manage payroll functions, handle deductions, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct thorough audits to verify payroll accuracy and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Manage employee timesheets, handle special requests, and ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company guidelines, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with the HR team to manage compliance issues, optimize 401K contributions, and oversee other payroll-related benefits.
- Provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues, fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative workflows to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required (required)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience,
- Hands-on experience with Workday (required)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
