Company Overview: Our client is a supplier of high-quality building products for commercial & residential developers. The firm offers bespoke project management and wholesale product offerings. With a reputation for exceptional service, the firm is aiming to triple revenue over the next five years following two decades spent cultivating a customer base in the Northeast.
Job Summary: The Account Executive will be responsible for selling construction products & services to potential clients, including project developers, general contractors, and property owners. This role requires a proactive individual who will be responsible for managing inbound leads, prospecting, nurturing client relationships, preparing proposals, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of wholesaling, project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and inbound leads, offering ongoing support and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company’s services, capabilities, and competitive advantages. Develop tailored proposals based on client needs and project specifications.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and service contracts, ensuring agreements are aligned with company goals and client expectations. Work with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project execution, ensuring that client needs are communicated clearly and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proven track record of closing large deals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with CRM software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, architectural drawings, and blueprints is highly beneficial.
