Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Strategic Finance Lead to drive insights and decision-making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data science, and business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial and operational insights that support high-impact strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain advanced business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization platforms.
- Build and deploy Python-based analytics models to support scenario planning, forecasting, and investment evaluation.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights through deep-dive analyses and storytelling.
- Lead the design and automation of financial models, metrics, and KPIs across multiple business units.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on data sources, definitions, and governance.
- Support M&A evaluation, competitive benchmarking, and market expansion analysis through robust financial modeling and data analytics.
- Continuously improve data infrastructure and BI processes to increase transparency and efficiency across finance and business teams.
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience in strategic finance, analytics, investment banking, consulting, or a related quantitative field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience building and scaling BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, modeling, and automation (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.).
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill and present complex financial data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-rich environments; financial services, tech, or hedge fund experience is a plus.
