Overview:

My client is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst with expertise in Sage Intacct accounting systems to lead financial reporting optimization, system integration efforts, and process documentation. This is a project-based role ideal for a systems-minded accountant or financial tech specialist who enjoys building dashboards, streamlining workflows, and shaping financial systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management & Reporting

• Build and maintain custom financial and operational reports within Sage
• Develop real-time dashboards that support executive and departmental decision-making
• Continuously improve system configurations and reporting flows for better efficiency

Tech Integration & Workflow Enhancement

• Identify and implement third-party software tools that integrate with Sage
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and technology stakeholders to drive seamless system enhancements
• Automate recurring processes within the Sage ecosystem to reduce manual effort

Documentation & Team Enablement

• Create and manage detailed process documentation, including report templates and data flows
• Ensure system usage aligns with internal policies and external compliance standards
• Train finance and department leaders on how to use Sage for approvals, budget review, and dashboard insights

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Sage Intacct accounting software
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting and data visualization best practices
• Track record of successful software evaluation, integration, or automation projects
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools such as Power BI is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in systems accounting or financial transformation projects
• Familiarity with SQL or data modeling concepts
• Experience training non-technical users on financial systems
