Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager, seeking a External Wholesaler, responsible for developing and building relationships with Alternative Investment community. The candidate must possess the highest professional standards to represent the client in specified region.

Ideal candidate will be asked to utilize firms' impeccable track record and stellar reputation for responsible investing with regards to executing consultative sales strategies for applicable target Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) /Broker/Dealers (BD)/ Family Offices and Banks

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage resources to maximize territory sales using industry and firm data, and prioritizing advisors.
  • Develop and manage a strong and active pipeline and success record all meeting activity in a timely manner within our CRM.
  • Perform regular, aggressive and prompt follow up on all Firm-generated leads assigned from campaigns, or ad hoc requests from practice leadership
  • Implementation of coverage strategy in coordination with senior team leader for targeted clients
  • Conduct persuasive, professional presentations to targeted audience with the intent in driving sales
  • Identifying and building strong relationships with all key decision makers within target territory
  • Evaluating existing client relationships and identify new revenue streams through active communication and collaboration with the relationship manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of sales experience wholesaling mutual funds, SMAs and Alternative products in territory.
  • FINRA Series 7 License is required
  • FINRA series 63 or 66 is required for this position and must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Proven ability to grow a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business over multiple years.
