Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager, seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Consultant/Associate who will partner with a Regional Director, responsible for providing internal sales coverage and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients for assigned regions. The primary role of the Internal Sales Consultant is to drive sales and build relationships with Financial Professionals selling clients suite of Investment products.
Ideal candidate will take a client-centric, sales driven approach to partner with Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) and Broker/Dealers (BD) to drive mutual fund and other investment sales within the specified marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships with Financial Advisors through high-quality, pro-active interactions.
- supporting major markets and directly managing secondary markets within their Region
- Promotes the sale of the firm's proprietary mutual funds through internal and external distribution channels
- Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure business efficacy and effective prioritization of resources.
- Utilize the CRM system to log all client activity.
- Determine which financial product(s) the Firm offers best suits the potential advisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of Financial Industry experience in a sales capacity with Mutual Funds and/or Managed Accounts/RIAs
- 2 years minimum experience as an internal sales associate in financial services industry.
- FINRA Series 7 License is required
- FINRA series 63 or 66 is required for this position and must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
