A leading global alternative asset management firm, founded in San Francisco in 1992, with over $100 billion of assets under management is looking to hire a Compensation Director.

Description of Position

The Compensation Director will oversee the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs. This role is integral in ensuring that the compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's overall strategic goals.

The Compensation Director will work closely with senior leadership, HR

partners, and finance teams to develop and administer compensation policies and practices that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Principal Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy Development:

• Help recommend, implement and oversee their total rewards strategy - supporting the attraction and retention

of top talent.

• Conduct market analysis to ensure the company's compensation programs are equitable and competitive.

Program Management:

• Oversee the administration of the company’s compensation programs including base pay, bonuses, RSU grants,

and equity compensation.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

• Manage compensation benchmarking surveys and analyze data to inform compensation decisions.

Advisory and Consultation:

• Provide expert advice, compensation recommendations, and equity solutions to senior management.

• Partner with HR business partners and Talent Acquisition to address compensation issues and provide solutions

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Monitors trends, maintains knowledge of industry best practices and evaluates the success of the benefits and

rewards programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

• 8-15+ years of experience in compensation management, preferably within the asset management or financial

services industry.

• Experience with credit and compensation operations preferred but not required.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
