One of our highly reputable Hedge Fund clients currently seeking to add a Senior Analyst to add to their growing Human Capital Team. Ideal candidate will provide generalist HR support to our New York team including employee on-boarding, benefits and compensation administration, policy interpretation, employee file maintenance, HR communications, and more. This individual will interact with all levels of Management in our New York office, other North America HR teams, and the Regional and Global HR teams.

Essential Functions: (Includes but not limited to):

  • Coordinate all aspects of employee on-boarding process from
  • background checks to orientation, including preparation of new hire
  • packages and documents in preparation for on-boarding process.
  • Responsible for involved in all aspects of the HR function
  • Assist with employee relations.
  • Communicate news and vital information to staff.
  • Assist in benefit administration, including communication,
  • enrollment, and status changes.
  • Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with exceptional attention
  • to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance and proper maintenance of personnel records and files.
  • Manage Recruitment process: post ads on recruitment & professional websites; track, schedule and communicate with job applicants and agency vendors.
  • Manage new employee onboarding process including background checks, orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee engagement.
  • Support the HR team in all day-to-day administrative tasks, such
  • as scheduling, copying, filing, tracking of expenses, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2+ years related human resources professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and applicable federal and state laws.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Workday, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
