Our client, a top hedge fund in Midtown is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Strategic Finance team. This team conducts analysis to drive decision making across the firm.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience.

Experience:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline
• 3+ years hands-on analytics work experience
• Ability to structure, analyze, and contextualize vast, unstructured or incomplete data
• Ability to synthesize and communicate clear and actionable insights from complex analyses to business stakeholders and senior management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills + data presentation skills
• Experience with Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python and/or R
