Our client is premier Financial Firm based in NYC, in search for new Director of Corporate Development. Select individual will manage Corporate Development (Strategic Growth), providing M&A due diligence, and deal execution. Ideal individual must be well versed in assembling and reviewing entire end to end M&A Transaction, possessing strong modeling skills and superior ability to pitch and make investment recommendations and proven ability to successfully execution practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunities
• Implement engagement finance dashboard allowing senior leadership to monitor program financial health, budget forecasts, and profitability across all teams within firm
• Lead strategic partnerships and advise Management Team on deal structures and negotiations
• Present due diligence/potential risks/ and make recommendations to Investment Committee
• Review and monitor Private Equity Data/Risk metrics
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing process with Senior Management/Board of Directors
• Prepare investor communications, including but not limited to financial forecasts, reporting and financial estimates
• Contribute to internal lead and pipeline development through drafting proposal decks to support Deal Creation teams
• Work with Compliance, Legal and Marketing Teams
• Oversee back-testing of investments analytical framework and cash-flow forecasts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years most recent experience Banking or Management Consulting, or similar experience;
• Private Equity/M&A/ Investment I-Banking strongly preferred
• Top Academic pedigree (Ivy League preferred)
• MBA preferred - not required
• Corporate Development/M&A/Transaction Advisory
• Advanced Technical Skills; Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
