Summary

The Site Coordinator is a funded position through The Children’s Trust grant. The Site Coordinator is an integral part of the CARE Center, and provides oversight of the CHAMPS (Community of Healthy Active Motivated Positive Students) program that takes place within middle and high school community sites. CHAMPS program offers youth in grades 6-12 with educational and interactive activities (Academic Support, STEAM, Health & Wellness, Social-emotional, College and Career Readiness, Sports, Mentoring and Leadership). The Site Coordinator works directly with CHAMPS Program Director/s to ensure the program is implemented and delivered with consistency and fidelity and ensures timely delivery and collection of program data information i.e., pre and post measures and program attendance; and maintains consistent communication with parents and program participants.

This is a grant-funded, temporary, part-time, in-person position.

Essential Functions

​Coordination of CHAMPS program implementation on School (middle and high) Sites:

  • Assist in recruitment, enrollment, and retention of CHAMPS program participants

  • Work with CHAMPS Program Director to ensure program is implemented and delivered with consistency and fidelity.

  • Participate in all University, C.H.A.M.P.S. program and funder trainings

  • Ensure timely delivery and collection of program data information i.e., pre and post measures and program attendance

  • Assist the CHAMPS Program Director/s to ensure has program has all necessary program materials and supplies, such as: program curriculum, program supplies, meals/snacks

  • Maintain consistent communication with program participants and their parents.

Provides direction for CHAMPS program staff, subcontractors, and volunteers:

  • Supervise and provide direction to the facilitators (staff, subcontractors, and volunteers) on site for the successful implementation and delivery of evidence-based and best practice programming.

  • Coordinate meetings and trainings with CHAMPS Program Director/s for program staff/volunteer

  • Oversee data collection management of CHAMPS program participants

  • Coordinate program schedules and space allocation for implementation and delivery programming

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Associate's required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of Experience coordinating youth development-enrichment activities for middle and high school students.

  • Must be able to manage administrative and programmatic aspects

  • Professional interactions with program directors, program participants, subcontractors, program staff, and community
