Assurant
The Vice President, Product for Renters Solutions, is accountable for the strategic vison, leadership, development, and overall performance of the Renters product portfolio. This executive role oversees the full product lifecycle—from ideation through launch and ongoing enhancement—while driving innovation and go-to-market strategies that align with business objectives and deliver meaningful value to clients and consumers. The VP collaborates extensively across functions to ensure the product offering meets customer needs, reflects market dynamics, and achieves profitability targets.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Renters product line in alignment with Global Housing goals.
Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, including concept development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, Finance, and other departments to deliver integrated product initiatives.
Conduct market analysis, gather customer insights, and monitor competitive activity to inform product strategy.
Oversee product financials, including P&L management, pricing strategy, and investment planning in collaboration with Finance.
Champion a discipline, data-driven product management framework while fostering a culture of innovation across the team.
Drive client retention and business growth through on-going product innovation and enhancements.
Lead cross-functional teams in developing product requirements and execution plans.
Represent the product in client engagements and support sales efforts with subject matter expertise.
Monitor and report on product performance metrics and KPIs.
Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the product organization.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to 30 team members, fostering an environment of growth and engagement.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, including leadership and cross-functional team oversight.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
Proven ability to translate customer needs into effective product solutions.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing product profitability.
Understanding of regulatory and operational considerations within the insurance industry.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Experience in insurance or housing-related sectors.
Master’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
Deep business and financial insight, with a strong grasp of profitability drivers, market dynamics, and deal structures.
How much should I expect to travel?
Up to 20% travel for client meetings, team collaboration, and participation in industry events.

Pay Range:
$166,900.00 - $278,600.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
