Overview of Position
The Senior Quality Control Review Auditor, plays a critical role in supporting the Operations Center by conducting detailed quality control reviews that ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across flood insurance transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of NFIP guidelines and departmental procedures to evaluate both system-generated and underwriter-driven decisions. Insights from these reviews are used to deliver actionable feedback, support training efforts, and drive continuous improvement. By upholding high standards of quality, the Senior Quality Control Review Auditor helps enhance operational performance and contributes to a superior customer experience. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Perform comprehensive quality reviews of flood insurance policies to ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) standards.
Apply advanced knowledge of NFIP rating rules and federal flood insurance standards in the review of policy lifecycle activities.
Evaluate underwriter performance by actively auditing their responses to agent inquiries, identifying gaps in service or compliance, and ensuring alignment with the latest NFIP program updates and departmental protocols.
Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively provide feedback and communicate trends or findings to management.
Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with quality control standards.
Support quality initiatives and help maintain consistency through participation in calibration sessions.
Consistently maintain required performance metrics.

What are the requirements for this position?
High School or equivalent diploma.
Possess the ability to make independent decisions in all aspects of the job, without direct supervision.
At least 4 years of recent flood insurance underwriting experience, specifically with an insurer that sells NFIP policies (Write Your Own company).
Experience with FEMA Risk Rating 2.0
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Background in quality control and compliance auditing.
Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI) certification.
Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
This is a fully remote position.
Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods.
Requires the use of a company issued computer with multiple monitors.
Traveling is not a requirement.

Pay Range:
$20.49 - $33.81Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
