About America On Tech: America On Tech is an award-winning, early pipeline technology talent accelerator on a mission to decrease racial wealth gap by creating pathways for underestimated students to thrive in technology and innovation. To date, we have worked with more than 3,500+ by providing tuition free technology courses and work-based internship and learning programs to promote the advancement of students into technology. We have offices in NY, Miami and LA.

Who We Are Looking For: ​We are currently looking for a Data Manager to join our team. This person will report to and work closely with the National Program Director (NPD) to lead efforts around data management, data analysis, and reporting at AOT. This role is perfect for someone who is process-oriented, detail-oriented, analytical, and a problem solver.

Job Responsibilities:

Program Data Management (70% of role):
  • In collaboration with NPD and program staff - with insights from Director of Development - develop data collection and evaluation plans for all program verticals aligned with strategic plan goals and annual report structure
  • Manage data collection and storage to ensure data security and integrity
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide regular insights about the outcomes of AOT’s flagship and partner programs
  • Create regular reports, data visualizations, and/or dashboards that communicate programmatic insights and outcomes, for internal and external audiences on a quarterly and as-needed basis
  • Assist in training staff with varying degrees of knowledge to ensure all data is logged and maintained accurately
  • Update, maintain, and, in some cases, develop system documentation, user guides and workflow documentation to support organizational data systems
  • Manage AOT’s Salesforce platform:
    • Create new and update existing applications, surveys, & forms on the FormAssembly platform
    • Ensure all FormAssembly forms are connected to Salesforce and pushing data smoothly
    • Update the program impact analysis document on an annual basis
    • Audit Salesforce data for cleanliness and completeness
    • Audit Salesforce usage for best practices
    • Create Salesforce policy and procedure documents
    • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues as they arise from staff
    • Complete regular internal system audits and keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Development/Fundraising Data Management (30% of role):
  • Map Salesforce data from third party systems including donorbox, eventbrite, mailchimp, gmail, and others as needed
  • Create regular reports, data visualizations, and/or dashboards that communicate fundraising funnel for each fundraising campaign including Innovators and Disruptors Awards, Individual Giving Campaigns, Grants, and others for internal and external audiences on a quarterly and as-needed basis
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on data
  • Assist in training staff with varying degrees of knowledge to ensure all data is logged and maintained accurately
  • Support data entry as needed

Must Have:
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Experience with Salesforce, FormAssembly, MailChimp, Evenbrite & Google Suite
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Communication skills--written, oral and presentation
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Comparable experience will also be considered
  • Salesforce Administration Certification
