Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Tampa, FL. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing cloud-based payments applications, as well as designing resilient, secure solutions and collaborating with engineers to deploy and support production systems.

Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to enhance software solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience developing cloud-based applications using Java and AWS.

• Hands-on expertise with core AWS services (Lambda, EKS, EC2), Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot microservices.

• Proven ability to design and optimize resilient, secure payment applications and implement RESTful APIs in large-scale, cloud-native environments.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
