Akkodis
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Tampa, FL. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing cloud-based payments applications, as well as designing resilient, secure solutions and collaborating with engineers to deploy and support production systems.
Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on project requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to enhance software solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience developing cloud-based applications using Java and AWS.
Hands-on expertise with core AWS services (Lambda, EKS, EC2), Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot microservices.
Proven ability to design and optimize resilient, secure payment applications and implement RESTful APIs in large-scale, cloud-native environments.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
