Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Java backend development and SQL Server database administration to be considered for this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop backend systems using Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture.

• Implement reactive programming solutions to enhance performance and scalability.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.

• Collaborate in Agile teams, using tools like JIRA to manage tasks and deliverables.

• Troubleshoot and optimize code, using build tools and source repositories for efficient development.

• Support application operations, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure smooth deployment and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in Java backend development and open-source technologies.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17, Spring Boot 5+, microservices, and reactive programming.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
