Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Clearwater, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting test stations for inertial navigation units. They must be proficient in using diagnostic tools and resolving electrical or system-level faults in collaboration with engineering teams.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $38.37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and repair test stations used for inertial navigation units

• Diagnose and resolve electrical circuit and hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix test anomalies

• Interface with serial communication protocols such as 1553 and DIO signals

• Support software debugging and integration using Visual Studio programming environments

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electrical circuits, computers, or industrial machinery

• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters

• Strong troubleshooting skills with test stations for inertial navigation units

• Experience with serial bus communication protocols, including 1553 and DIO signals

• Programming experience with Visual Studio or similar development environments

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.37 per hour
