Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ/Plano, TX (Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications, while collaborating with business partners and managing change processes to ensure system integrity and continuous delivery.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications in the Financial Crimes technology space.

• Collaborating with business partners to define system requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

• Implementing and maintaining RESTful web services and multi-tier applications using Java Spring and ReactJS.

• Setting up and automating continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Participating in story refinement and estimating work required for delivery.

• Managing change management, platform upgrades, and interfacing with upstream and downstream applications.

• Conducting performance tuning, SQL optimization, and ensuring database integrity (Oracle 19c).

• Applying Agile methodology, promoting best practices, and ensuring adherence to Enterprise Change Standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 10+ years of applicable experience in Java Full Stack development.

• Expertise in ReactJS, Java Spring, and RESTful web services.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, and experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $67.00 per hour
