Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Kennesaw, GA/ Chicago, IL/ Richmond, VA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate various initiatives within the Workday application, ensuring alignment with enterprise change management standards.

Rate Range: $62/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating various project activities, including semi-annual Feature Releases and downstream initiatives within the Workday application.

• Collaborating with business partners to optimize processes and improve reporting.

• Ensuring that all changes adhere to Enterprise Change Management standards.

• Acting as a subject matter expert on the Workday application and Agile processes.

• Working closely with architects and developers to provide solutions and support testing.

• Planning and coordinating delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.

• Facilitating dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.

• Promoting communication and collaboration across organizations to ensure deliverable completion and timeline adherence.

• Gathering status updates for stakeholders regarding delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

• Supporting resource planning for delivery and execution by collaborating with the Lead Developer.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within HR technology or Workday environments.

• Strong experience in managing dependencies, risks, and impediments in cross-functional projects.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with business leaders, external vendors, and internal technology teams.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $67.00 per hour
