Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Richmond, VA/Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid). Responsibilities include facilitating scrum ceremonies and ensuring team members are empowered to adopt Agile practices while addressing issues proactively to meet project goals.

Rate Range: $62/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure smooth project execution.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to track project progress, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment with project goals.

• Using Jira to monitor and report on project status, create and refine backlogs, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Coaching and mentoring team members on Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and empowering team members to take ownership of their tasks.

• Proactively identifying and resolving issues, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and driving process improvements for efficiency and quality.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in project management or working in an Agile environment.

• Experience with Jira and MS Project, with a strong preference for Jira proficiency in reporting and managing Agile workflows.

• Certifications such as PMP, CSM/PSM, or SAFe are highly preferred to demonstrate Agile methodology expertise.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $73.00 per hour
