ETL Test Lead

Akkodis is seeking an ETL Test Lead for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. Candidates must have strong SQL and ETL testing expertise while defining test strategies and guiding teams through test execution and CI/CD‑based automation.
Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
ETL Test Lead job responsibilities include:
Define and own the test strategy, test plans, and estimation for ETL testing across complex data pipelines and integrations.
Lead and guide ETL test teams in performing data validation, writing SQL queries, and reviewing stored procedures.
Coordinate end‑to‑end ETL testing activities in Agile/DevOps environments, ensuring alignment with CI/CD pipeline practices.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure quality delivery.
Oversee test data creation and management while driving automation for ETL workflows using programming and scripting capabilities.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly across teams and facilitate integration testing across multiple programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of experience in ETL testing, data validation, and QA leadership within Agile/DevOps environments.
Strong expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and ETL testing, including experience defining test strategy, test plans, and leading ETL test teams.
Hands‑on experience with ETL automation, CI/CD pipeline testing, and validating data pipelines across traditional and/or cloud platforms such as Azure Data Factory or Databricks.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
