Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidates must have proven AWS QuickSight expertise while building Snowflake-driven dashboards and optimizing data pipelines using AWS services like S3 and Redshift.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, build, and maintain AWS QuickSight dashboards (analyses, visuals, parameters, row‑level security) to deliver actionable insights.
Develop and optimize Snowflake data models (schemas, views, materialized views) and write performant SQL to support BI use cases.
Prepare and curate QuickSight datasets by integrating data from Snowflake and AWS sources (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS), ensuring data quality and consistency.
Implement and manage data security and governance, including access controls, RLS in QuickSight, and role-based permissions in Snowflake.
Monitor and tune performance and cost (warehouse sizing, query optimization, caching, SPICE usage) and troubleshoot data/visualization issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate KPIs, and document semantic layers, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
8–10 years of experience in BI development, cloud analytics, or data engineering.
Proven hands-on expertise with AWS QuickSight for building dashboards, datasets, and visual analytics integrated with Snowflake.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with core AWS data services such as S3, Redshift, and RDS to support analytics and reporting needs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
