Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. This role requires deep experience in machine learning frameworks to design robust APIs and deploy production‑ready AI models.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python, ensuring robust architecture, security, and performance.

• Integrate and operationalize AI/ML models (Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow) with Azure ML for training, deployment, and monitoring of production-grade AI features.

• Develop responsive React (TypeScript) frontends, implementing state management, routing, and component libraries to support complex user workflows.

• Implement AI functionality with LangChain and related JavaScript/Python libraries to enable intelligent, context-aware application features.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, UX/UI, data scientists, and ML engineers in an Agile environment; participate in design reviews and backlog grooming.

• Ensure code quality and reliability via unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and continuous improvement of observability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).

• 8–10 years of experience in full‑stack development with strong exposure to AI/ML technologies.

• Proven expertise in building scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python, with experience integrating production‑ready AI/ML models.

• Strong frontend development skills using React (TypeScript) and demonstrated experience deploying AI‑powered solutions using tools such as Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, Azure ML, or LangChain.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $44.00 per hour
