Akkodis is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in CI/CD, containerization, and virtual environment scaling while partnering with stakeholders to design roadmaps and implement DevOps best practices.
Rate Range: $43/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Azure DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:
Lead and mentor DevOps teams in delivering automated, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while implementing containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage virtual environments, including provisioning, scaling up/down, and ensuring system performance and availability.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to develop roadmaps, implementation strategies, and regular status updates.
Implement DevOps best practices across automation, monitoring, configuration management, and deployment processes.
Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other languages to streamline operational workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 6–10 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, including leading teams within cloud or containerized environments.
Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scalable virtual infrastructure management.
Proven ability to interface with client stakeholders, develop roadmaps, and deliver implementation plans with clear communication and presentation skills.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $44.00 per hour
