Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. You will design and build robust Selenium automation frameworks and perform database/backend automation testing.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design and build robust Selenium automation frameworks using Core Java.

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications and backend/database testing.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for database validation and automation.

• Collaborate in Agile environments, following Scrum and continuous integration practices.

• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Perform manual testing when required and ensure adherence to SDLC processes.

• Utilize testing tools such as JIRA and ALM for defect tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in automation testing and framework development.

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and Selenium, including designing and building automation frameworks.

• Proficiency in writing SQL queries, backend/database automation, and integrating automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
