Akkodis is seeking a Technical Architect for a Contract with a client in Jacksonville, FL. You will drive the design and implementation of control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO, and GMP standards.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Architect job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, downtime, and quality problems, optimizing performance for safety and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements for all automation and control systems.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, support equipment validation, and manage change control processes.

• Lead initiatives to implement new technologies and improve reliability, conducting root cause analysis for failures.

• Support commissioning and upgrades of manufacturing equipment, providing technical support and training to maintenance teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field (master’s preferred).

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in automation and control systems for manufacturing environments.

• Hands-on expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and motion control systems for automated equipment.

• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP compliance specific to medical device manufacturing.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
