Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Oldsmar, FL. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining servers and network equipment while ensuring optimal data center operations.

Rate Range: $28/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Install and maintain servers, network equipment, and cabling to ensure optimal data center operations.

• Monitor server performance and environmental conditions, performing daily walkthroughs and reporting hardware alerts.

• Troubleshoot network and server issues and coordinate with offshore teams for resolution.

• Manage rack and stack activities and oversee new hardware installations and TELCO link setups.

• Coordinate with external vendors for onsite support, deliveries, and issue resolution.

• Ensure data center compliance and cleanliness, maintain capacity reports, and provide on-call support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2–4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for server, network, and hardware issues, with hands-on experience in rack and stack activities.

• Ability to coordinate with vendors and manage installations, cabling, and maintenance while ensuring compliance with data center standards.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
