Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. Candidates must have strong expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, and PyTest, with proven experience in implementing automated testing frameworks.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientist job responsibilities include:

• Develop advanced data models and algorithms to support enterprise-grade analytics and decision-making.

• Perform statistical analysis and data exploration, delivering actionable insights from large and complex datasets.

• Implement automated testing frameworks using PyTest to ensure reliability and accuracy of data solutions.

• Design and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business processes and applications.

• Maintain code quality and documentation, following best practices for Python development and testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in data science and analytics roles.

• Strong expertise in Python programming, PostgreSQL database management, and statistical modeling.

• Proven experience in implementing automated testing frameworks using PyTest for enterprise-grade solutions.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
