Sr. Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Sr. Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL(Remote). This role requires strong expertise in Azure Data Factory and SQL Server, with the ability to build secure, high-performance data pipelines.
Rate Range: $43/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to support business intelligence and analytics.
Implement secure data solutions leveraging Azure Key Vault for credential and secret management.
Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity.
Develop and integrate APIs to enable seamless data exchange between applications and services.
Utilize tools like SSMS and Visual Studio Code for efficient data development and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
Strong proficiency in building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and managing secure data access with Azure Key Vault.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Python, and API integration, along with familiarity with Azure DevOps and Databricks.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $44.00 per hour
