Salary: $60 - $65k / year

Location: On-site 5 days a week in our Downtown Miami office.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a passion for regulatory compliance and a love for pets. In this role, you'll ensure that our company operates within legal and regulatory guidelines while maintaining our commitment to providing top-notch pet insurance services.

Responsibilities:

  • Becomes an expert in pet insurance plan offerings and the plan options that Spot provides in the US and Canada.
  • Immerses oneself in advertising guidelines, industry regulation, and approval procedures.
  • Research legal precedent and recommends creative solutions to marketing.
  • Develops an understanding for how promotions, sweepstakes, and giveaways can be utilized and best activated within a customer lifecycle.
  • Quickly develops an understanding of NAIC licensing acts.
  • Develops internal “How To” guides for internal business departments.
  • Handles marketing content between internal and external checkpoints and publish approved versions in compliance management system.
  • Conducts internal audits on marketing practices and ensure publications reflect approved messaging.
  • Manages internally controlled inboxes, ensuring messages are delivered to key stakeholders in a timely manner. This includes inbox response management and unsubscribes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service or related field
  • Fluency both written and verbal in English is a MUST
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Relevant training, internships, and/or certifications.
  • Willingness to work on-site five days a week in our Downtown Miami office.
