I get it… Dedicated IT is awesome. But, what’s the position all about…?

Primary Functions:

  • Represent Dedicated IT and our partners professionally.
  • Cleanse 2000 Accounts within Salesforce.
  • Work with SDR Manager & SDR team to research prospective accounts.
  • At 90 days mark, if quotas/goals are met, the next step is a promotion to Sales Development
  • Representative (promotion includes increased base salary & commissions)
  • At 180 days mark, if quotas/goals are met, the next step is a promotion to Senior Sales Development Representative (promotion includes increased base salary & commissions)
  • Then the next step, if quotas/goals are met, is to become an account executive. (promotion includes increased base salary & one of the BEST commission structures in the country!)

How do I know if I’m a good fit for this job?

Key skills required by a Sales Development Representative are active listening to gauge a prospect’s needs, time management, communication and negotiation. You’ll be successful if:

  • You have an outgoing, friendly personality that allows you to engage with a stranger.
  • You have great listening skills that will allow you to understand a potential client’s needs.
  • You have excellent communication skills that will allow you to provide a potential new client with an accurate picture of our services as well as provide the account manager with a synopsis of the needs of the prospect.
  • You have the ambition, drive & passion to reach the next level within the organization.
    Excellent phone etiquette and ability to thrive in a high call volume work environment.
  • You have the ability to work well under pressure – be quick on feet to do well in our fast-paced atmosphere with a high sense of urgency.
  • Take pride in everything you do from quality to efficiency to providing superior service.
  • You have a positive attitude and are supportive and respectful to your co-workers.
  • You live within 30 miles of our Lake Park office and have a remote office space with high speed internet. This position will start off as remote with the possibility of working out of HQ at a future date.

Junior Sales Development Representatives should have:

  • A few years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Experience with a high call volume.
  • A strong understanding of analytics.
  • A deep understanding of sales techniques and metrics.
  • No fear of talking to new people, presenting to a group, attending networking events to build a prospect base.
  • A desire to learn different sales training techniques, obtain certifications and read material suggested by management that will increase success in the role.
  • Possess basic working knowledge of finding information through various mediums such as Google, LinkedIn, and Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce experience.
  • College degree.
  • Sales experience.
